Westbound Bay Bridge closed for weekend work
AP SAN FRANCISCO — With one direction of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge closed for the long holiday weekend, San Francisco residents getting out of town will want to plan ahead in they use the bridge to get back into the city.

The westbound upper deck was closed around 8 p.m. Friday for lane reconfiguration at the Oakland touchdown just past the toll plaza.
